A senior living executive director is mission critical for operators of senior living communities. Executive directors are resource managers who define the tone of a community and its relationships with residents, families and the surrounding neighborhood. These leaders need to have a diverse skill set, high emotional intelligence and strong business acumen.
The ALFA Senior Living Community Leadership Award will honor one executive director of a senior living community who is an ideal representative and role model for the thousands of executives leading senior living communities. The recipient of the 2016 award will be honored at ALFA 2016: The Senior Living Executive Conference in Denver, Colorado, May 9-12, 2016.
The Executive Director is responsible for providing overall leadership in the day-to-day operation of a senior living community. This person is charged with maintaining staff and resident and family engagement in addition to budget adherence and regulatory compliance.

The winning nomination for the Senior Living Community Leadership Award are announced at the ALFA Conference and Expo alfa.org/conference.
Selected Executive Director travel to the ALFA Conference and Expo. Full conference registration, air travel and one hotel night included.
