Elder Abuse
Elder Abuse Reporting

ALFA’s members are senior living providers that have zero tolerance for elder abuse of any kind. Whether it be emotional, physical, or financial, elder abuse is a serious concern that requires vigilance in preventing and addressing reports of abuse. Proper procedures include compliance with reporting laws, training staff on state laws, immediate investigation of reported abuse, and, if appropriate, dismissal of staff involved in abuse. Below are laws and regulations pertaining to the protection of seniors as well as resources for reporting elder abuse.
