ALFA's Networking Events

Senior living is continuously evolving in order to meet the changing needs of current and prospective senior living residents, and offer accessibility, choice, dignity and independence. As a result, senior living and assisted living providers and those companies serving senior living share best practices through ALFA programs to raise standards and improve the quality of care and service offered to seniors and their families.


ALFA brings its members and other industry thought-leaders together throughout the year to encourage collaboration, best practice sharing and professional development.

  • Conference & Expo – the premier event in senior living includes three days of advanced educational sessions, a solutions oriented expo, high-profile awards ceremonies and networking opportunities.

  • Senior Living Leadership Forum – an intensive one day program for senior executives at leading ALFA member companies, the ALFA Forum is designed to foster problem solving discussions and promote excellence at ALFA member companies and communities.

  • Advocacy Fly-In – a two day event that brings together top advocates from across the country to Washington, DC to advocate for the principles of choice, independence, and quality of life for seniors.

  • Senior Living Executive Roundtables – These exclusive, by-invitation-only peer groups are comprised of seasoned senior living professionals from a variety of disciplines and functional areas, who meet in person and through conference calls to discuss their most pressing business challenges.

  • Chapter and State Affiliate Conferences and Training Workshops – Meetings, workshops, networking events and conferences throughout the states and regions focus on current happenings, problems, and best practices amongst local senior living professionals and companies.

The ALFA Advocacy Fly-In is the premier public policy event for ALFA. Open to ALFA members only, this two day event brings together top advocates from across the country to Washington, DC to advocate for the principles of choice, independence, and quality of life for seniors.

Advocacy never ends. It is a constant endeavor. And your presence in these meetings is paramount to our advocacy efforts. You are the voice of senior living. You are the most effective advocates in the best interests of resident-centered care. Become an advocate!
