  • Assisted Living - Assisted living is a well-regulated, affordable, and popular home and community-based alternative to skilled nursing care.
    ALFA urges Senators and Representatives to recognize assisted living as a progressive and innovative home and community-based alternative to skilled nursing care for seniors.

  • National Silver Alert Act - Support Important Life-Saving Legislation for Seniors Living with Alzheimer’s Disease and Other Dementias
     ALFA Urges Senators and Representatives to Support the National Silver Alert Act (S. 557 / H.R. 632)

  • 1099 Tax Reporting Requirement (Signed into Law April 2011) - Protect Small Business by Supporting the Repeal of 1099 Tax Reporting Requirement
    ALFA Urges Representatives to Support the Repeal of 1099 Language through Co-Sponsoring H.R.144, Introduced by Representative Dan Lungren (R-CA)  

  • Health Care Reform - Long Term Care Demand, Affordability And Consumer Choice
    ALFA Urges Senators and Representatives to Support Implementation of Long Term Care Components of Health Care Reform.

  • National Labor Relations Board - Do Not Allow the National Labor Relations Board & U.S. Department of Labor to Trample on Employee & Employer Rights
    ALFA Urges Congress to Keep Control Over Labor Public Policy Decisions and Allow Workers the Right to a Secret Ballot Election

  • Home Health Care - Oppose Co-pays for Home Health Services.
    ALFA Urges Senators and Representatives to Stand up for the Millions of Seniors and Disabled People throughout America by Opposing Co-pays for Home Health.

ALFAPAC 2012 Golf Classic

ALFAPAC Golf Classic – Assisted Living Event

Join other senior living executives on May 15, 2012, for a game of golf at the Seventh Annual ALFAPAC Golf Classic. The Cowboys Golf Club is the first, and only, professional football-themed golf resort in the nation.

Entry is $250 per player and includes transportation, golf, cart, buffet breakfast and lunch, player amenity package, and full access to Cowboy Golf Club’s facilities.

Beginner golfers need not worry about being placed with more advanced players at the ALFAPAC Golf Classic. For no additional fee, we will place you in what we call FUN-somes. These foursomes are put together for people who want to come out on a beautiful day, on a gorgeous course, and play for the fun of it. Please make sure to let us know if you wish to be placed in one of these groups.
