Veteran Tool Kit

The U.S. Office of Veterans Affairs (VA) offers a variety of programs and services for veterans and their surviving spouses. Information on all of these benefits is available at Vba.va.gov/vba. While the range of benefits includes everything from home loans to life insurance, this ALFA Toolkit provides information on the Aid & Attendance (A&A) and Housebound Benefit programs. Veterans and spouses may be eligible for these needs based benefits when a beneficiary requires assistance with activities of daily living, such as help with dressing, bathing, eating, preparing meals, etc. These benefits may not be paid with or without a beneficiary’s eligibility for pension. ALFAPAC Golf Classic – Assisted Living Event

Join other senior living executives on May 15, 2012, for a game of golf at the Seventh Annual ALFAPAC Golf Classic. The Cowboys Golf Club is the first, and only, professional football-themed golf resort in the nation.

Entry is $250 per player and includes transportation, golf, cart, buffet breakfast and lunch, player amenity package, and full access to Cowboy Golf Club’s facilities.

Beginner golfers need not worry about being placed with more advanced players at the ALFAPAC Golf Classic. For no additional fee, we will place you in what we call FUN-somes. These foursomes are put together for people who want to come out on a beautiful day, on a gorgeous course, and play for the fun of it. Please make sure to let us know if you wish to be placed in one of these groups.
