ALFA's Mission, Vision & Principles

HISTORY:
Founded in 1990, ALFA serves as the voice for operators of senior living communities and the seniors and families those communities serve.

MISSION:
Members of ALFA exemplify the principles of choice, dignity, and independence for seniors. To support these principles and to enhance quality of life for seniors, ALFA influences public policy, promotes business excellence, and ensures an informed public.

ALFA CHAPTERS & AFFILIATES:
ALFA operates five state chapters and has agreements with 32 independent ALFA affiliate organizations that focus on state-specific public policy initiatives and education efforts. Learn more about ALFA state chapters and affiliates is available.

Did you know the ALFA 2013 Senior Living Art Showcase is 100% virtual this year and ALL art forms are accepted? Senior living residents who wish to participate should simply send a photograph of their artwork to ALFA, with an explanation of how it fits this year's theme, "Celebrating the beauty of life"! Take a moment to learn more about the 2013 showcase rules and guidelines. Deadline for entry is February 25, 2013.
