Hero Awards Program

ALFA 2010 Hero Award Winners

Heroes are found in senior living communities across the country. They are the executive directors, staff members, nurses, frontline caregivers, and volunteers who do more, give more, and personify the spirit of excellence in senior living care.

Everyone knows at least one hero - someone in senior living who has shown extraordinary courage and leadership - someone who has risen above his or her daily duties to improve the quality of life for residents. ALFA launched the Hero Awards over a decade ago to honor assisted living professionals who provide extraordinary care by going above and beyond expectations to surprise and delight residents.

The Assisted Living Federation of America has announced the recipients of its Hero Awards for 2010. Six extraordinary professionals in senior living have been selected from a pool of nearly 1,000 nominations for ALFA’s prestigious Hero Awards program.

Grimes. “Our heroes represent the highest levels of excellence, caring, and dedication in the senior living business. They inspire us all.” Read more about the ALFA 2010 Heroes of Senior Living.
