How do I join
ALFA?It is the company, not the individual that can join ALFA. Company membership
covers all of your executives with benefits that extend to your
corporate headquarters staff of executives, regional executives, and
Executive Directors of communities.
You can join ALFA online by clicking on the orange "Join" button at the top of any ALFA page or or via regular mail by downloading our applications.
Can my community join if the corporation
doesn't?
No. Individual senior living
communities tied to a company (not independently owned/operated) must
have their corporation agree to ALFA membership, before community-level
executives can receive benefits.
Why should my company join
ALFA?
ALFA serves as the voice of consumer-driven,
resident-centered senior living companies, and
the seniors and families they serve.
An investment in ALFA both connects you with
news, information, insights and resources to help you operate better
and make a positive impact in one of
the nation’s most essential — and expanding —
business sectors. Your organization’s membership makes a positive impact in the senior living community, critical to the needs of millions of seniors and their families requiring long term services and support.
Additionally, through ALFA,
we create opportunities for you to build new
business relationships and nurture existing ones.
We stand ready to help you continue to prosper
and to work together to promote excellence in
senior living.
Who receives our bill/invoice for ALFA
membership?
Your corporate decision-maker, in
many cases your COO and CEO.
Can I still join ALFA State Affiliates in my
state?
Yes, in addition to joining ALFA
(national) directly through your corporation, ALFA encourages you to
join the ALFA state affiliate that best serves your state level
lobbying interests. Please feel free to contact your State
Affiliates.
What are the membership
dues?
For a senior living provider, the membership dues are $11 per licensed assisted
living operational resident capacity (ORC). While the value is high, the rate is still below
other organizations that charge between $19 to $24 per resident
capacity. With one direct corporate membership to ALFA, more
of your executives and corporate employees are covered with innovative
new benefits, discounts and more. Allied Membership rates vary based on the level of engagement.
Can I subscribe to Assisted Living
Executive?
Yes, If you are employed by a senior living provider, you may qualify for a
FREE 12 month Assisted Living Executive subscription, delivered to your door! Non-providers in the senior living industry can purchase an annual subscription of the magazine from the ALFA Store for $95 or you can view the digital version at ALFAPublications.org.
