Continuing Education Credit

2009 conference participants who attended the education sessions can earn up to 11 continuing education units towards maintenance of your state license/certification (where mandated). Sessions at the 2009 annual conference have been reviewed by the National Continuing Education Review Service of the National Association of Boards of Examiners of Long Term Care Administrators (Program Approval Number: 552009-29913-37).

ALFA highly recommends that participants keep current with their state boards’ most current policies & requirements for obtaining continuing education credit. Please note that state licensing boards maintain final approval of accredited programs for licensee credit.

Online CEU Management

ALFA has introduced a fast and simple online tool for managing your Continuing Education (CE) units.  Access the online CEU manager from the comfort of your office or home any time no later than August 1, 2009.  Using the online CE manager is easy!  Simply select the courses attended, enter the pass code provided at the end of the session, complete online evaluations and print your CE certificate.  For those who wish to complete the CE verification process from the comfort of their own office, a link to the online CE manager will be posted on this website following the conference.

During each session, we will announce a unique pass code that will be used to verify your participation in the session. Each session will have a different pass code; please record this important information. Each time you add a course to your CE transcript, you will be asked to enter the session-specific pass code.
