Mass-ALFA and Care and Compliance Group Form Training Affiliation

WILDOMAR, California  –   Effective September, 2012 the Massachusetts Assisted Living Facilities Association (Mass-ALFA) and Care and Compliance Group (CCG) have formed an educational affiliation to bring comprehensive, affordable training tools for assisted living administrators and staff to Massachusetts.

A featured component of the affiliation is access to discounted pricing for Mass-ALFA members on Care and Compliance Group’s popular staff training DVDs and training kits.  The DVDs are developed specifically for training Assisted Living and Residential Care community staff members, and cover a wide range of care issues, from activities of daily living, to end of life care.  “We recognize that providing quality dementia care is one of the greatest challenges for Assisted Living and Residential Care providers, and our dementia care videos will help to prepare staff to deliver outstanding care to residents with dementia and other cognitive disorders by demonstrating effective person-centered care techniques and strategies,” said Josh Allen, RN, CEO of Care and Compliance Group.

“Mass-ALFA is excited about our new affiliation with CCG. This affiliation will enable Mass-ALFA to offer a wider array of e-learning products, especially for executive directors, line staff and middle managers,” said Mass-ALFA President, Emily Meyer.
